Beanies for Brother

Note to self: Start making some navy and black beanies for Jeremy for the Winter. I need to ask my mom what color he can have. But he might get moved, so that might changed. Oh, well. If some of them aren't the right color, I'm sure I can give them to someone else. Or donate them. End note...

I've now decided to use this blog as a knitting journal. I'm always coming up with ideas and stuff during the day, so this should be a good way to keep in track of those stray thoughts as they come falling out of my head. That is assuming that I don't forget the password again and spend 15 min trying to get it back from Google.

What to do!

How do you find out if someone is allergic to natural fibers? I want to make a prayer shawl for my daughter's teacher, but I want to give her something that she will actually use and not sneeze every time she looks at it. If I go the safe (and cheaper) route, I could easily make something out of Lionbrand Homespun. If I go the nicer (and more expensive) route, I could use Berocco Ultra Alpaca, which I like more! Oh well, guess I'll check the finances and that will decide for me!
